"So, this is my life. And I want you to know that I am both happy and sad and I’m still trying to figure out how that could be."

Stephen Chbosky (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) (via quote-book)

"It’s there, I know it is, because when I look at you, I can feel it. And-and I look at you, and I… and I’m home. Please… I don’t want that to go away."

We all have those days. We all want to do this at some point in our lives. To just run as far as your legs can take you. Because running is fun. Because the feeling of the wind against your skin is quite liberating. Because you just need to get away from whatever that was back there. Because sometimes home doesn’t feel like home anymore.

HAHAHA.

I can’t believe it’s been two and a half years already. We still miss you dearly gong gong. I hate that you’ll never be able to ride in that red sports car that I promised you I was going to get when I was only a little girl. Or that you’ll not get to attend my graduation from law school. But mostly, I hate that you never got to meet my little sister. I know you’ll just be doting after her like you did to me. Also, you’ll be glad to know I found a very important person to share my life with. ♥

I bet you’re living it large in heaven right now and always keeping an eye out for me.

The sweet life.

The sweet life.

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
Courage to change the things I can;
And wisdom to know the difference.

Being alone, isn't the same as being lonely.

You would think I have it down to an art now. Being an only child for the last 18 years. Truth is, I surrounded myself with people, with things, I put on a facade of this constant hustle and bustle. Even as a little girl, I always knew I was never made to be alone for the simple fact being that I couldn’t and I wouldn’t have it any other way. But what I’ve come to notice is that, you still have to fight some battles alone, there are some times where you have to be alone. One day, I may not have to be alone because of you. Isn’t that right, sweetheart? But now, it is an art that I shall learn to perfect like all things in life. Especially, that whole part of eating by myself.

"Finding someone you love and who loves you back is a wonderful, wonderful feeling. But finding a true soul mate is an even better feeling. A soul mate is someone who understands you like no other, loves you like no other, will be there for you forever, no matter what. They say that nothing lasts forever, but I am a firm believer in the fact that for some, love lives on even after we’re gone."

Cecelia Ahern; P/S I Love You
Although it may be come what may or fate, a good friend once told me, you’ve got to take control of your own fate too. Some things are too important to leave it up to chance.

"It is not our purpose to become each other; it is to recognize each other, to learn to see the other and honor him for what he is: each the other’s opposite and complement."
